EDUCATION
The Studio and Forum of Scenic Arts, Cornwall, NY
A Theatrical Scene Painting School offering studio classes and seminars; with instruction and guidance from Local USA 829 scenics Jane Snow and Joseph Forbes, students are taught skills necessary in the scenic arts industry.
SKILLS
Theatrical scene painting: trompe l'oeil, master painting replications, landscapes, faux finishes, color matching, working with acrylic paint, dye, muslin, mesh screen.
Hard scenery and props: HVLA spray guns, airbrushing, foam carving, vinyl application, mold casting, upholstery, plaster, texturing, ready patch/joint compound, caulking, sanding.
Meticulous with an eye for detail, able to work independently as well as with a team, great at problem solving, and works well under pressure.
